Each handcrafted portrait typically takes 2 weeks to complete from the booking date. Time may vary depending upon the details and size of the painting. You will receive real-time updates on email.

Artwork Completion Timeframe: This refers to the period between the payment of the initial 50% deposit and the completion and approval of the portrait, which is typically estimated at around 2 weeks. Please note that this timeframe does not include delivery time, as shipping duration will vary based on the destination and the courier service used.

Deadline: The approximate completion date will be specified on the client’s invoice as an estimated timeframe. Furever Portraits will make every effort to complete the portrait within this period. However, delays may occur due to factors such as communication or approval delays, late payments, courier issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Furever Portraits will ensure the client is kept fully informed throughout the process and notified promptly of any expected delays.

Due to any reason, if the client decides to cancel their commission before the final payment, they may do so at any time by submitting a written request. However, the initial 50% deposit will not be refunded by Furever Portraits to cover the work already carried out in good faith and the cost of materials used. From the point of cancellation, Furever Portaits will dispose off the artwork.

In cases where the client becomes unresponsive, the following procedures will be followed:

Completion of Portrait: A scanned watermarked image of the finished portrait will be emailed to the client. If no response is received within 30 working days, the commission will be considered cancelled.

Final Payment: Once the client has approved the portrait and received the final payment invoice, payment must be completed within 30 working days. Failure to do so will also result in cancellation of the commission.

After the 30-day period has expired and the commission is deemed cancelled, Furever Portraits will no longer be responsible for storing or maintaining the artwork. Furever Portraits will dispose off the portrait thereafter.

Please note that in all cases, the initial 50% deposit paid at the start of the commission will be non-refundable, in accordance with this cancellation policy.

By submitting photographs for a pet portrait, the client grants Furever Portraits permission to use those images both for creating the commissioned artwork and for promotional purposes (such as social media posts showcasing the reference photo alongside the finished portrait). If the client prefers not to have their reference photos used for promotional material, this request must be made in writing before the commission begins. To help the client visualize the final piece, Furever Portraits will prepare a digital draft based on the photographs provided. This draft will illustrate the portrait’s composition, including the pet’s placement, size, and overall layout within the artwork. By approving the draft and paying the deposit, the client confirms their satisfaction with these details. Please note that the approved draft serves as the blueprint for the painting process. Therefore, changes to the pet’s size, position, or the overall composition cannot be made once painting has begun.

Upon completion of the portrait, the client will receive a watermarked, low-resolution scan via email for review and approval. At this stage, the client may request up to two rounds of revisions. Any additional revisions beyond this limit will incur a ₹300 fee per round, payable in advance before further adjustments are made.

If after two rounds of revisions, the client remains unsatisfied with the artwork and chooses not to proceed with further paid revisions, they are not required to pay the final balance. In such cases, the commission will be considered cancelled, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Please note that major changes — such as altering the pet’s placement, size, or overall composition — cannot be made, as these details are finalized during the digital draft approval stage.

Portraits will be shipped only after the client has approved the final version. Any delays in shipping caused by delayed client communication are not the responsibility of Furever Portraits.

Once a portrait has been dispatched, no further revisions or adjustments can be made.

All portraits by Furever Portraits are carefully packaged using secure, rigid materials to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that the artwork is damaged during transit, the client must contact Furever Portraits at nitya96.freelance@gmail.com within 1 working day of receiving the parcel and provide photographs of the damage. Depending on the severity of the issue, a replacement portrait may be created and shipped at no additional cost.

While every effort will be made to complete and dispatch replacements as quickly as possible, timeframes cannot be guaranteed, especially during busy periods. Furever Portraits cannot be held responsible for any delays arising from these circumstances. The client will be provided with an estimated completion and delivery timeframe for the replacement on a an individual basis.

All orders are shipped via Shiprocket services as standard, and clients will receive a tracking number once their order has been dispatched. Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

If a client believes their order has been delayed or lost, they should contact Furever Portraits at nitya96.freelance@gmail.com, quoting their tracking number. Once dispatched, delivery delays are beyond the Furever Portraits’ control, and orders that arrive outside the estimated timeframe are not eligible for a refund on that basis.

Orders deemed “lost in transit” will be replaced and reshipped at no additional cost to the client. The point at which an order is classified as lost will be determined at the discretion of Furever Portraits. While every effort will be made to complete and deliver replacements promptly, timeframes cannot be guaranteed, particularly during busy periods. The client will be informed of an estimated replacement schedule on an individual basis.

In all cases, copyright for the completed pet portrait remains with Furever Portraits. This includes the right to use images of the artwork, as well as any recordings of the creation process, for promotional purposes—both online and in print—without limitation.

The client may display and enjoy the finished artwork for personal use only. However, the client does not have permission to reproduce, sell, or otherwise profit from the portrait in any form without prior written consent from Furever Portraits.

Clients who prefer that their portrait not be featured in any promotional material must inform Furever Portraits of this request in writing or through the portrait request form prior to the start of the commission.

If the portrait is intended as a gift, the client must notify Furever Portraits in advance (either in writing or via the portrait request form). Every effort will be made to ensure that any related content remains private and is not shared publicly until after the gift has been given.

Additionally, emails, social media messages, and customer reviews may be featured as testimonials on Furever Portraits’ website, social media pages, or within printed promotional materials.

Choose a clear, high-quality photo with good lighting and sharp details of your pet’s face and preferably if they're fully visible. Avoid blurry or filtered photos — the better the photo, the better the portrait!

A 50% deposit is needed to confirm your commission slot. Once we’ve finalized the details of your pet’s portrait, you’ll receive an invoice with all the information needed to make the payment via bank transfer/payment link/UPI. The balance amount is payable upon completion of the portrait.
